Hi Friend
I'm Heather, the face and love behind Heather Kaye Photography or as I like to call it HKP! Heather Kaye Photography currently services Hampton Roads, Virginia and the surrounding area.
My husband and I met many moons ago when we were just 18 years old and the rest is history. Together we have 5 children and 2 of the best dogs ever. When I am not behind the lens, you can find me squeezing in all of the family time I can get. I also enjoy interior decorating, gardening, playing with farm animals, sweet tea and a good ol' DIY. Honestly, I couldn't ask for anything more.
I have truly been captivated by the art of photography since I was a very young girl.Through the desire to have a mobile business with our military lifestyle and lots of education I began to hone in on what god has intended for me to share with the world. My love and ability to perfectly capture life’s most precious, fleeting moments began roughly ten years ago while my, then fiancé, was deployed overseas with the US Airforce. During that time, God truly lead me to give my passion a purpose. Thus, HKP was born.
Let’s Tell Your family Story
HKP was established in 2013 and originally based out of Roanoke,Virginia. Since then I have been so incredibly blessed to work with thousands of people all over the east coast,Texas and Canada. Most recently residing in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland AFB for four years before transferring here to the Hampton Roads (Langley AFB)area in the early Summer of 2023.
As the founder and lead photographer I have truly poured my heart and soul into this business which I strive to show to all of you through my photographic work. As a current active duty Airforce family, for the past 16 years, I truly understand the demands, importance, and unique needs associated with being a part of the military community. As a mother of five I recognized the desire to document those baby bumps and sweet babies at every stage while also taking careful consideration to include the entire family for those moments to not be soon forgotten.
